Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities await passionate and experienced Occupational Therapists looking to make an impact in the educational setting. For the 2026/2027 school year, a district near Newport, NH, is seeking two dedicated OTs to provide essential supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) working throughout the district's public schools. Part-time and full-time options are available—work up to 20 hours per month or up to 37.5 hours per week, depending on your preference and availability. The position's primary focus is the clinical supervision and mentorship of COTAs within the schools, ensuring the highest standard of care for students and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Qualifications:
Active, valid Occupational Therapist licensure in New Hampshire Previous experience supervising COTAs in a school-based environment Strong understanding of school therapy processes and regulations Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit Ability to complete required supervision documentation and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver on-site clinical supervision to designated COTAs (up to two per OT) Collaborate with COTAs and district staff to support optimal student outcomes Allocate approximately seven hours of supervision per COTA monthly Maintain comprehensive, timely documentation and compliance records Participate in the school community to ensure coordinated care and support
