Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple schools in Barnegat, NJ, as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. You'll make a difference each day by providing holistic district-wide support and working closely with educational staff to help students achieve their fullest potential. What you'll bring: Valid New Jersey Occupational Therapist license New Jersey Department of Education certification Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy; pediatric/schools background essential Flexibility to travel between district locations as needed Strong collaboration and communication skills Excellent organizational abilities to manage a diverse caseload Ability to meet standard NJ credentialing and fingerprint requirements prior to start Your impact and responsibilities: Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students across various age groups, adapting interventions to individual and program needs. Coordinate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students' IEP goals Document assessments, progress, and service outcomes in compliance with district and state regulations Offer full district support by serving a multifaceted caseload spanning multiple school sites Provide expertise in adapting educational materials and the learning environment to foster student independence and participation Maintain thorough records and communicate findings with multidisciplinary teams Uphold professional and ethical standards at all times Here's what to look forward to: Full-time schedule with varied hours: 8:50-3:40 Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 7:30-2:20 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays Work with a supportive team in a collaborative educational setting Opportunity to extend beyond the initial contract end date Flexible interview process—virtual or onsite interviews available Set your skills in motion and help shape bright futures in Barnegat.
