Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) certification required Previous experience in school, healthcare, or home health OT settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to work with K-12 students across varying abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess students' abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to support educational and developmental goals Deliver direct occupational therapy services within the school environment Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure student progress and engagement Complete documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding strategies, modifications, and support for student achievement
