Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist Position Summary Provides medically prescribed clinical occupational therapy in patients homes. Primary Position Responsibilities Facilitate and Coordinate Occupational Therapy Care. Evaluates Progress Toward Attainment of Patient Outcomes. Documentation of Care. Employs Strategies to Promote a Safe Environment and Patient Health. Education of the Patient and Care Giver. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum Education :

Required:

Bachelor s Degree in

Occupational Therapy Preferred:

Master s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation) :

Required:

Two years of clinical experience in a hospital, out-patient, or rehab setting.

Preferred:

One year of Home Health experience.

License, Registry or Certification :

Required:

Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of New Jersey. Valid driver s license. Current CPR certification. If not certified, must obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.

None Knowledge, Skills and/or

Abilities :

Required:

Excellent communication, time management, judgment and decision making skills. Computer functionality knowledge. Knowledge and skill in current OT practice

Preferred:
