Occupational Therapist (OT) - Per Diem / Evaluations Bright Speech is a pediatric speech therapy facility dedicated to helping children build functional communication, independence, and confidence. We are looking to add a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to our team on an as-needed, per-evaluation basis , with an additional opportunity to provide clinical oversight for a COTA. Position Overview This is a flexible opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with children and is interested in a collaborative pediatric therapy environment. The OT will primarily complete occupational therapy evaluations on an as-needed basis and may provide clinical supervision/oversight of a COTA. Responsibilities Complete comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations Review relevant medical, developmental, educational, and therapy history Conduct appropriate standardized and/or informal assessments Develop clear evaluation reports with clinical recommendations Communicate evaluation results and recommendations with families and the Bright Speech team Collaborate with SLPs and other providers to support a child's overall therapeutic needs Provide clinical supervision and oversight of a COTA, as needed Maintain documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards Compensation $80 per completed OT evaluation Additional monthly stipend for COTA supervision/oversight , with the amount negotiable based on responsibilities and availability Flexible, as-needed schedule No required weekly caseload Qualifications Current NJ Occupational Therapist license in good standing Experience working with pediatric clients preferred Experience completing pediatric OT evaluations preferred Comfortable working collaboratively with speech-language pathologists and other pediatric professionals Strong communication, clinical documentation, and organizational skills COTA supervision experience is a plus Why Bright Speech?
