Job Description

Bluemark Rehab LLC is a small business in Lakewood, NJ providing physical, occupational, aquatic and speech therapy. We are seeking a Per Diem occupational therapist for aquatic and traditional physical therapy for an exciting opportunity! Mentoring and training in aquatic therapy will be provided. Simple online documentation. New grads welcome.
Our work environment includes:
Safe work environment Flexible working hours We are looking for a compassionate and energetic Occupational Therapist to provide aquatic therapy to our patients. Aquatic Therapy training will be provided by our experienced team. Our ideal candidate has a background in physical therapy, experience working with adults, and a strong commitment to the community. Our contracted occupational therapist will work closely with patients to identify their needs and to establish individual rehabilitation plans. The therapist is also responsible for communicating patient progress and their rehabilitation status to the Medical Director, Primary Care Physicians and other key members of our health care team.
Responsibilities:
Identify and meet patients' goals and needs Offer effective treatments that help improve clients' motion and mobility Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally Promote clients' healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Consult and practice with other health professionals Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress Document patient care services
Skills:
Proven work experience as a occupational therapist Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid license to practice occupational therapy in
