Job Overview:
RWJ Barnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Part-Time Occupational Therapist in New Brunswick, NJ.
Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate of accredited program in Occupational Therapy at the baccalaureate or post baccalaureate level required Acute care/hospital experience OR strong acute rehab experience
Preferred:
Active membership in a professional organization is encouraged Certifications and Licenses Required New Jersey board license required Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association required
Scheduling Requirements:
Holidays Required 24 hours per week, Sunday-Tuesday Part Time schedule
Essential Functions:
Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients in the acute care setting. Patient and family intervention on all nursing units including, but not limited to orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, cardiac, critical care, trauma, general medicine and telemetry, emergency department and pediatrics. Strong teamwork, communication and documentation skills required for intra disciplinary and interdisciplinary communication.
