Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey Occupational Therapy license (OT NJ) required Experience with pediatric populations across educational environments Background in OT for schools and/or home health, with knowledge of IEPs and therapy documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with a range of intervention techniques tailored to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct OT services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, both one-on-one and within small groups Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment goals, and participate in IEP meetings Maintain thorough and accurate records, progress notes, and data tracking to support student growth Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote generalization of skills across educational settings Adapt therapeutic strategies to accommodate a range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs Offer guidance and training to school personnel and parents on recommended accommodations and adaptive equipment This contract opportunity offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, with 35 hours per week.
