Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Jersey Experience providing OT services in a school setting is preferred Comprehensive knowledge of assessments, IEPs, and therapeutic interventions Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and school staff Adaptable, patient, and passionate about supporting children with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to identify student needs and document progress clearly Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals in alignment with IEP teams Deliver direct and consultative therapy, both individually and in small groups, within the school environment Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes according to district and legal requirements Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student success and participation in the classroom Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment as necessary
