Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) - School-Based Opportunity Near Belen, New Mexico Are you looking for a school-based role where your work truly makes an impact every day? Soliant is partnering with a supportive and welcoming school district near Belen, New Mexico to hire a passionate Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. Position Overview Full-time and part-time opportunities available Onsite role within a collaborative school environment
Caseload:
K-12 students with a variety of developmental and functional needs Opportunity to work alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) Provide direct occupational therapy services and monitor student progress Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective classroom strategies and accommodations Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning Compensation & Benefits Weekly pay ($50-$55 /hr) Guaranteed hours for consistency and stability Compensation for both direct and indirect services Comprehensive benefits package including: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company matching Professional liability insurance Qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field Active State OT license (or eligibility to obtain) Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required If you're passionate about helping students build the skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom, we'd love to connect with you.
