Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Take your Occupational Therapy expertise on the road and make an impact in both high school and elementary settings near Bosque Farms, NM! This contract position offers the chance to work closely with students from PreK through 12th grade, providing valuable therapy and support in both school-based and home-health environments. You'll be part of a collaborative educational community, working weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing you to enjoy a fulfilling work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapy licensure required Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred Home health and general healthcare occupational therapy background a plus Skilled at evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized student interventions Adaptable approach to diverse student needs, from elementary through high school Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for students in PreK-6th and 10th-12th grades Develop and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to ages and developmental levels Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to ensure seamless therapy integration and student success Maintain accurate documentation of therapy plans, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with school requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight into student goals and accommodations Support generalization of OT strategies across home and classroom settings This is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with students and staff, expand your expertise, and enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule throughout the school year.
