Following physician referrals, you will establish patient-centric goals, consistently track and reassess clinical progress, and coordinate with our multi-disciplinary medical team to facilitate safe, successful transitions of care.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions Patient Evaluations:

Perform comprehensive OT evaluations focusing on patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs; document clinical findings clearly and thoroughly.

Treatment Planning:

Build structured, individualized treatment plans with measurable goals that can be easily understood and executed by supervising OT/COTA colleagues.

Therapeutic Interventions:

Deliver safe, evidence-based care (therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, adaptive equipment training, and patient/family education).

Progress Tracking:

Continually reassess patient progress, adjust treatment protocols, and update referring physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.

Team Collaboration:

Partner alongside physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and case managers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Clinical Versatility:

Safely adapt clinical techniques to meet the specialized, age-specific, and diagnostic needs of a diverse patient population.

Safe Environment:

Maintain a clean, organized, and secure clinical space while ensuring proper maintenance of therapeutic equipment.

Mentorship:

Provide mentorship, orientation, and guidance to clinical students and newly hired staff members.

Compliance & Billing:

Prepare accurate, timely billing documentation conforming to regulatory and organizational guidelines. Maintain regular, reliable attendance and adhere to all facility-wide compliance policies.

Required Qualifications Experience:

1 to 3 years of clinical practice as an Occupational Therapist is required.

Education & Licensure:

Active state board Occupational Therapist (OT) License is required.

Certification:

Active Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification

Work Authorization:

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
