Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on an impactful role as an Occupational Therapist providing services in a school-based setting in the Edgewood, NM area. This contract position offers part-time hours (20-25 hours per week) and presents the opportunity to support K-12 students as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to student achievement and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations Collaborate closely with teachers, fellow therapists, school administration, and parents to facilitate each student's success Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and document progress Work with a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade
Required Qualifications:
Current New Mexico Occupational Therapist license Valid New Mexico Occupational Therapist PED certification Previous experience or strong interest in providing therapy services in a school setting Exceptional communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently within a school environment This opportunity offers compensation in the range of $38/hr to $45/hr.
