Job Description
Qualifications:
Valid New Mexico (NMRLD) state license as an Occupational Therapist required NMPED license must be secured by start date; candidates with pending NMPED status are welcome Previous experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred A passion for working with elementary-aged students Excellent communication and collaboration skills Adaptability and organizational abilities for effective caseload managementWhat You'll Do:
Provide in-person OT services tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support Assess students and develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Maintain clear documentation, progress notes, and evaluations Attend IEP meetings and participate in school team initiatives Support inclusion and student engagement within the classroom environment Discuss preferred caseload ages during the interview—your expertise will help shape your assignmentPerks and Benefits:
