Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference supporting students in an engaging educational setting as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This contract opportunity runs from July 20, 2026, through May 20, 2027, offering a fulfilling academic year near Mesilla Park, NM. Key Qualifications:
Current license as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred Familiarity with educational assessments and therapy plans for K-12 students Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff Ability to maintain organized records in line with district and legal requirements Adaptability and enthusiasm for working onsite in a team environment
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students with diverse needs Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support student academic success and participation Document services, progress, and recommendations with accuracy and timeliness Offer strategies, modifications, and support for teachers and classroom environments Participate in IEP meetings and parent communications as needed
