This contract opportunity offers full-time hours and runs through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year. Working with a long-standing partner in the region, youll be onsite, traveling among several schools to provide care for learners of all agescollaboration and adaptability are key.

What were looking for:

New Mexico state occupational therapy license (NMRLD) and NMPED certification (or ability to acquire before start) Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred Willingness to supervise COTA(s) Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within the district Open to both OTs and COTAs with the appropriate credentials Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to student-centered, goal-oriented therapeutic practices In this role, you will: Deliver occupational therapy services across elementary, middle, and high schools Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress Collaborate with educators, families, and other school-based professionals Provide supervision and mentorship to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants Adapt interventions to support students with diverse needs in various educational environments Participate actively in IEP meetings and staff consultations Enjoy working in an area known for its beautiful scenery, mild climate, and proximity to El Paso, TX, White Sands National Park, and more.
