Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students across both high school and elementary levels. As an Occupational Therapist with expertise in educational, healthcare, and home health settings, you'll play a vital role helping children and adolescents achieve their fullest potential. This school-based position begins August 3, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule—working 40 hours per week from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Your expertise will benefit a diverse student population, serving both PreK-6th graders and 10th-12th graders. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create nurturing environments and impactful therapy plans that address each student's unique strengths and challenges.
What You'll Bring:
Active Occupational Therapist license and credentials for the state. Previous experience working in OT within schools, healthcare, or home health settings is highly valued. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt therapy interventions for students with a wide range of needs and age groups. A passion for empowering children and teens to develop vital life and academic skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide direct OT services to students in both elementary and high school grades. Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement IEP goals and strategies in the classroom and school environment. Document progress and maintain thorough, compliant records. Engage with families to support at-home carryover of therapy techniques. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, supporting a holistic approach to student success.
