In addition to providing individual, group and/or family therapy, the Clinician participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing an annual comprehensive psychosocial assessment, quarterly treatment plans, and documentation for each Client, the Clinician will participate in individual supervision, team consultation and team meetings.Role Responsibilities :

Provides clinical treatment to clients across the lifespan using individual, group and family therapy practices. Begin the therapeutic relationship with the clients and/or caregivers first through the intake process.Evaluation/Re-Evaluation:
Assess the Clients functional abilities include physical, emotional, cognitive, executive functioning, social and sensory components to evaluate the necessity of skilled occupational therapy intervention, need for massage therapy intervention, yoga-based therapy intervention or other services available in the biophysical health department. Perform a thorough assessment of the client and the family through the use of Behavior Rating Scale of Executive Functioning (all ages); Sensory Processing Measure (all ages), Adolescent/Adult, Infant/Toddler, and Child Sensory Profile, Bruininks Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency-2, Bayley Scales of Infant Development, Social Profile, Pead=body Developmental Motor Scales, and/or several other non-standardized functional assessments of handwriting, social skills, emotional processing, praxis, adaptive behavior, etc. Assessments that are used to support or justify a diagnosis should be updated alongside the treatment plan as appropriate. Clinical therapist will create a full and complete treatment plan with the clients and/or legal guardians/caregivers including long-term and short-term measurable goals for the child, adult or family, diagnosis of the client, treatment modality to be utilized, plan and discharge. This will be presented to the client and/or legal guardians/caregivers after the assessment sessions and the caregivers will sign the presented treatment plan for TTC records. The treatment plan will be re-evaluated every 90 days and adjusted as necessary. Create and maintain accurate and current documentation of each session through the TTC electronic medical records system. The session note will be completed within 48 hours of the session being conducted.If requiring a supervisor signature:
The clinical therapist will save the note for the supervisor to review and approve. The supervisor will then sign the note if the note is accurate and complete within 24 hours. The Clinician must maintain a monthly average of their contracted billable hours. The clinical therapist is responsible for maintaining an accurate and full calendar with correct billing session codes for each session. Calendars are to be updated reflecting appointments scheduled 6 weeks out. The clinical therapist must review and enforce the cancellation policy with their clients. Clinical judgement may be utilized in certain cases where the family needs extra support to attend appointments. Attends staffing meeting weekly and team consultation. Follow all legal and ethical mandates, locally, statewide and nationally. Clinicians are required to consult with their direct supervisors anytime they make a SCI/APS report. All mandatory reporting calls must be completed within 48 hours of disclosure. Documentation of call must be signed by the Clinician's supervisor and uploaded to Clients electronic medical record.Organizational Structure :
TTC is governed by its CEO and COO who oversee the corporation as a whole. TTC houses multiple departments. Each department has its own Director and Assistant Director (when necessary). Individual Clinicians may refer to their contracts for who their direct supervisor is and when applicable who their supervisees are. Clinicians are the direct care providers within the organization. They are supported by an administrative and supervisory staff, but they remain the primary face of the organization. It is important that Clinicians maintain consistency, professionalism and kindness when interacting with other staff and clients.Supervision Requirements:
Each Clinician is required to attend individual supervision as stipulated within their individual contract. Clinicians are required to keep their supervisors appraised of all client's progress, struggles or significant incidents, ethical or legal dilemmas involving clients, colleagues or administration. The status of their own mental and emotional health over time in working with this population so the supervisor may work with the therapist to inform the therapist of resources, develop a plan for recovery and prevent burn out. Reflective consultation is required as stipulated within individual contracts. Quarterly in supervision goals should be evaluated and supported by supervisor. Semi-annually Clinicians will receive an evaluation to support their growth and goal attainment. Evaluations are also provided to redirect Clinicians who are not meeting expressed expectations within this job description and/or TTC policy and procedures.Training Expectations :
Each Clinician is expected to fulfill all continuing education requirements for all current licenses and certifications. It is expected that ongoing training will support their trauma focus at TTC as well as increase their scope of practice.Pay:
