Job Description
Key Qualifications:
Current or pending NM state (NMRLD) Occupational Therapy license NMPED credentials (may be pending by the start date) Previous experience in a school setting is valued Comfortable working with elementary-aged students Excellent collaboration skills and a student-centered mindsetResponsibilities Include:
Conducting assessments, developing, and implementing therapeutic interventions for elementary students within an on-site school setting Consulting and collaborating with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to create effective strategies for student success Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Adapting interventions and supports to fit individual student needs and IEP goals Participating in IEP meetings and providing insights for caseload decisions Enjoy the perks of working in a region that beautifully blends city amenities with access to outdoor adventures, as well as a compressed 4-day school week giving you time to explore or recharge.
