Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to impact students' lives as an Occupational Therapist working onsite for the 2026-2027 school year. Located near Henderson, NV, you'll partner with dedicated educational teams to deliver personalized care and support young learners in their academic environments. This contract position is tailored for passionate professionals eager to make a difference, whether you bring school-based experience or are ready to expand your expertise. What we're looking for: Active Nevada Occupational Therapist license Experience with a variety of OT settings, including schools, home health, healthcare, and teletherapy Strong command of fine and gross motor skills interventions Openness to collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but motivated candidates without this background are encouraged to apply Commitment to compassionate, student-centered care Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Adaptability in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment Key responsibilities: Provide onsite OT services tailored to students' individual needs Work with educational staff to create and implement effective therapy plans Support fine and gross motor skill development for academic and daily living success Evaluate and document student progress, setting short- and long-term goals Participate in IEP meetings, communicating recommendations clearly and compassionately Collaborate with COTAs and other staff to ensure consistent, high-quality therapy delivery Engage families and educators in supporting student growth You'll thrive in a supportive school environment dedicated to fostering independence and confidence in students.
