Occupational Therapist Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing - 2.8 Castleton-on-Hudson, NY Job Details Part-time $45 - $50 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications OTR Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Join Our Collaborative In-House Therapy Team Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing located in Castleton-on-Hudson (10 minutes from Albany) is looking for a dynamic, compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our progressive in-house rehabilitation team. New team members receive strong mentorship, training, and ongoing professional development. Responsibilities Including but not limited to: 1. Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer occupational therapy treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician or nurse practitioner. 2. Administer prescribed treatments to help restore or maintain resident function. 3. Support residents in preventing disability or further decline following injury, illness, or a medical event. 4. Help residents reach their highest practical level of well-being. 5. Communicate clearly and effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and facility staff. 6. Serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing to the development and review of resident care plans. 7. Complete all required documentation promptly in both the Rehabilitation and Facility EMR systems, in accordance with facility policy and state and federal regulations. 8. Assist in educating residents, resident representatives, and other departments on occupational therapy and resident care. 9. Participate in performance improvement activities. 10. Participate in all facility and departmental training, including infection control, fire safety, bloodborne pathogens, and equipment use. Skills & Requirements Current New York State Occupational Therapy License in good standing NBCOT Certification Previous long-term care (LTC) experience preferred Strong, engaging verbal and written communication skills Healthcare Setting Skilled Nursing Facility
