Occupational Therapist (School-Based | 2 Days/Week | $70-$100/hr)

Hempstead, NY Job Type:

Part-Time | 1099 Contract | In-Person Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide in-person services at David Paterson Elementary School in Hempstead, NY. This is a low caseload (approximately 10 students) with a 2-day per week schedule, making it an ideal opportunity for OTs looking for flexibility while working in a structured school setting. Position Highlights $70-$100 per hour (based on experience) Only 2 days per week School-based setting (elementary level) Small caseload (~10 students) Travel reimbursement available Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services to elementary school students per IEP goals Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports Support students in improving fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills Requirements Active New York State Occupational Therapy License Experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred Familiarity with IEPs is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Work Location In-person at David Paterson Elementary School (Hempstead, NY)
