This contract opportunity is based near Staten Island, NY and focuses on providing essential therapy services to children with disabilities as part of a collaborative school-based team.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapy license for New York State Previous experience working with children in a school setting is highly valued Knowledge or experience supporting students with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other genetic disorders Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively and deliver 1:1 therapy sessions Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills

Your Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 occupational therapy services to students ages 514 Serve two full-time elementary caseloads and one part-time high school caseload, totaling approximately 55 sessions per week Assess students needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document progress Collaborate with other therapists, special education staff, and families to support each students goals Adapt therapy materials and methods to meet each childs unique needs and developmental level Contribute to interdisciplinary meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
