For the upcoming 26/27 academic year, become an essential part of supporting elementary and high school students. Youll serve two full-time elementary caseloads and one part-time caseload at the high school level. Your compassionate OT expertise will empower 5-14 students with disabilitiesmostly ASD, as well as Down Syndrome, CP, and other genetic conditionsthrough 1:1 services and 55 tailored therapy sessions per week. This position gives you the chance to make meaningful differences every day, while cultivating your skill set as you navigate new professional settings.

Qualifications:

Valid OT license (NY state eligible) Previous experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy Understanding of or experience with children with autism, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and genetic disorders Strong communication and organizational abilities Flexibility and enthusiasm for travel assignments

Deliver 1:1 occupational therapy for assigned students, focusing on skill-building and independence Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families to maximize student outcomes Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress Utilize a variety of intervention strategies tailored to student needs Maintain accurate documentation and session notes in compliance with school guidelines Why take this journey?
