Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid and current Occupational Therapist license for New York State Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Prior experience, or strong interest, working in a school-based or pediatric setting Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and goal setting Excellent communication skills to build relationships with students, staff, and families Strong organizational abilities for managing a busy caseload Adaptability and compassion for diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess students functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans Deliver direct and consultative OT services tailored to student goals Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP process Document progress, maintain compliance, and communicate outcomes Educate staff and families on strategies to support student participation in daily school activities Utilize evidence-based practices for interventions and therapy delivery Balance caseload management with ongoing updates to records and reports
