Job Description

Oneonta City School District is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year for: Occupational Therapist (10-month position)
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a valid NYS Certification as an Occupational Therapist.
Effective Date:
20262027
School Year Salary Range:
$47,000 - $55,000, commensurate with experience
Interview Procedure:
Selected candidates will be interviewed by district administrators. Finalist(s) will be recommended to the Superintendent for appointment.
Note:
Vacancies are filled by a certified list provided by the City of Oneonta Civil Service Commission. Should no certified list be available, candidates appointed to this position will be serving in a provisional appointment in accordance with New York State Civil Service Law. The candidate must successfully complete a competitive examination and be eligible for appointment in accordance with Civil Service Law and the Civil Service Rules for the City of Oneonta to obtain a permanent appointment.
