Job Description

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master`s degree from an accredited Occupational therapy program. Holds a current license from the Ohio Occupational Therapy Licensure Board. Ohio professional pupil services license.
Summary:
The Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking an Occupational Therapist. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday.
Duties include:
Oversee the effective organization, management and evaluation of a comprehensive occupational therapy program. Prioritize caseloads and construct therapy schedules. Attend pre-evaluation team meetings to review developmental screenings, observations, and child information gathered by the Evaluation Specialist to determine the need for further evaluation for preschool special education services. Perform standardized evaluations based on the child's area of need including fine motor and sensory along with therapist observation to assist in determining the need for preschool special education services. Re-evaluate prior to the child's annual IEP review. Participate in the development of goals/objectives for the IEP and determine the frequency of occupational therapy services. Develop a plan of care/intervention based on the identified needs of the child and the goals/objectives on the IEP. Carry out therapy services in accordance with the IEP. Document services provided to the student.

From $33.10 per hour
