Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity delivering impactful occupational therapy services to students in a vibrant school setting near Chardon, OH. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Ohio Previous experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric environment preferred Strong understanding of IEP/504 processes, documentation, and individualized interventions Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' functional abilities and develop goal-oriented, personalized therapy plans Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support academic and functional success Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing feedback to teachers, staff, and families Contribute to the development and review of IEPs, attend meetings, and maintain thorough documentation Provide consultative support, resources, and professional insights to staff and families as needed Engage creatively to help students achieve greater independence and participation within the school community
