Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role that empowers you to make a difference across multiple school sites. As a full-time Occupational Therapist working primarily with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, you'll have the opportunity to support children and adolescents throughout their educational journey. This assignment offers consistent hours from August 17th to June 3rd, providing you the stability of a school-year calendar while working closely with dedicated education teams. In this dynamic role, you will: Deliver occupational therapy services to students at 2-3 campuses serving PK-12th grade, tailoring interventions to promote meaningful participation in school activities Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized plans Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust treatment plans to meet evolving student needs Provide staff training and consultation to ensure best practices in accommodations and classroom support Travel between sites within the Marion/Upper Sandusky area as assigned, ensuring comprehensive coverage To excel in this position, you should bring: Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and current OT licensure Experience or strong interest in working within school settings Skills in assessment, adaptive equipment recommendations, and collaborative consultation Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and multiple school environments Commitment to promoting independence, engagement, and well-being in students of all ages In addition to professional growth, you'll interact with supportive colleagues across schools, impact students' everyday lives, and experience the unique satisfaction of serving diverse learners.
