School Year Role Overview:
Provide occupational therapy services to students to improve independence, access to curriculum, and participation in school routines.
Primary Duties:
Evaluate students' fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy strategies Deliver services in classroom and therapy settings Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff Document services and track student progress Attend IEP meetings and contribute to team decisions
Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's or Doctorate) Current state OT license; NBCOT certification Experience in pediatrics or schools preferred Effective communication and teamwork skills
