Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract role providing Occupational Therapy services within a supportive school environment near Euclid, OH. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' daily lives, helping them succeed both academically and personally. This assignment is tailored for professionals passionate about fostering children's motor, sensory, and functional skills in educational settings.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Ohio Prior experience in school-based OT is preferred Strong knowledge of IEPs, student assessments, and therapeutic interventions Collaborative approach to working with teachers, staff, and families Effective communication and organizational skills Flexibility, reliability, and a positive, student-centered attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to determine needs and recommend appropriate OT interventions Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation for progress reports and compliance Consult with classroom teachers and staff to integrate supports across school routines Instruct students in techniques to develop fine motor, visual motor, and self-help skills Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team What to
