Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower students to achieve their fullest potential by providing exceptional occupational therapy services in an engaging school-based environment. As a valued member of the educational community, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students' growth and independence across academic and daily life skills.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy Certification by NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet student needs and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students' strengths and challenges related to occupational performance in the school environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on helping students succeed academically and functionally Support students in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive behavior Contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings and serve as a valuable resource to staff and families Monitor student progress, document interventions, and adjust plans as needed to ensure measurable outcomes Educate teachers and parents on strategies for integrating therapy recommendations within the classroom and at home
