Occupational Therapist (OT) - PRN A Path of Care Home Health - Norman, OK A Path of Care Home Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Norman team. A Day in the Life of an Occupational Therapist As an OT, you play a vital role in helping patients improve mobility, function, and independence.
Your responsibilities include:
Evaluating patient functional levels and collaborating with physicians to develop individualized plans of care Preparing clinical notes, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Providing therapeutic treatments and interventions based on the plan of care Consulting with families and agency staff to support patient goals Participating in in‑service programs and interdisciplinary collaboration Assessing equipment needs and ensuring patients receive appropriate assistive devices Reviewing and revising plans of care as needed (at least every 60 days) Practicing infection control and universal precautions Reporting suspected abuse according to state and federal guidelines Planning for patient discharge and evaluating treatment effectiveness You take pride in delivering high‑quality, compassionate care that truly impacts patients' lives. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program OR eligibility for the national registration exam OR at least 2 years of OT experience with a satisfactory proficiency exam CPR certification within 60 days of hire Ability to lift up to 50 pounds We're looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, dependable, and committed to professionalism and teamwork.
