1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a long-term care setting, requiring 1+ years of OT experience and active LTC or Rehab experience. Details Long-term care (LTC) setting Day shift, 8-hour shifts No weekend requirements No on-call requirements 13-week assignment Requirements Active OT license required (license required if applicable) Minimum 1+ years of OT experience required LTC or Rehab setting experience required New grads considered if Level II fieldwork experience is completed 1 reference required at time of consideration Skills checklist within 1 year required Additional Information Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders Develop and adjust individualized plans of care using standardized, evidence-based assessments Provide rehabilitative treatment including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use Document treatment progress, minutes, and discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical standards Communicate with interdisciplinary team regarding patient care and outcomes Participate in care conferences, utilization review, and required facility trainings Supervise occupational therapy assistants, aides, and/or students as needed Adhere to NBCOT and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethical standards Maximum of 7 days RTO may be requested during assignment
