This part-time contract position offers a chance to work closely with a diverse K-12 caseload one day per week, delivering essential therapy services that support academic and personal growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and documentation skills Passion for supporting students' physical, emotional, and academic development
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct onsite occupational therapy services to K-12 students, adapting interventions to meet individual needs Assess student abilities, develop individualized educational plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure interventions are integrated into educational environments Maintain accurate and timely records of sessions, goals, and outcomes as required Engage in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute to student support strategies Offer guidance and resources to school staff and parents on supporting students' occupational needs
