Key Qualifications:

Current, valid OT license in the state Previous experience working with school-aged children (K-12 preferred) Familiarity with IEP writing, assessment, and progress monitoring Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Strong organizational abilities and a proactive approach to caseload management

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students, implementing individualized education plans Conduct assessments and create intervention strategies to support student participation across school settings Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student growth and access to learning Document services, progress, and reports in compliance with school and federal guidelines Contribute to staff meetings and professional development as needed Be a resource for school staff on best practices and strategies in occupational therapy
