Exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide impactful services to students across seven counties in a dynamic school setting. This full-time contract position runs on a 189-day schedule and starts August 24th, 2026. Based near Redmond, OR, you'll have the chance to make a real difference by helping students gain improved access and participation within their educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide both direct therapy and consultative services to students in accordance with individualized education plans Assess student needs to develop and implement occupational therapy interventions that support educational access Select, recommend, and oversee appropriate adaptive equipment to facilitate participation and learning Train, coach, and collaborate with educational staff members to ensure effective carryover of therapy strategies and programming Maintain up-to-date documentation regarding student progress and service delivery Supervise and support therapy assistants as needed to ensure consistent, high-quality care Travel between multiple school sites as required to meet student needs across assigned counties
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Adaptable and committed to serving a diverse student population Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regional travel This contract offers a full-time schedule—40 hours per week—allowing you to focus on relationship-building and continuity of care with students, while engaging in meaningful work throughout the academic year.
