Responsibilities of the
Occupational Therapist:
Provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12. Consult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participation and maximize the student's potential. Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection, progress updates for marking periods, and yearly IEP revisions with updated goals and treatment strategies. Attend IEP meetings as recommended. Travel may be required throughout the school day.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist educational program. Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
