$55.00 - $75.00 per hour (part-time per diem) Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide individualized, person-centered therapy services to youth and adults in a collaborative, center-based environment. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate participants' functional abilities, identify areas of need, and develop individualized treatment plans designed to improve independence, sensory processing, motor skills, participation, and activities of daily living . This position works closely with participants, families, clinical staff, and other members of a multidisciplinary team to ensure occupational therapy interventions support each individual's goals and are meaningfully incorporated into daily activities and programming. Key Responsibilities Evaluation & Treatment Planning Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments. Identify participants' strengths, functional needs, barriers, and areas for development. Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on assessment findings and participant goals. Establish measurable treatment goals designed to increase functional independence and meaningful participation. Reassess participant needs and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Therapeutic Services Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in a center-based setting. Support the development of skills related to activities of daily living, sensory processing, fine and gross motor abilities, coordination, and functional independence . Incorporate therapeutic strategies into meaningful activities based on each participant's individual needs. Adapt interventions based on participant progress, response to treatment, and changing needs. Provide recommendations regarding adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and other supports that may increase independence and participation. Documentation & Progress Monitoring Monitor participant progress toward established treatment goals. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and professional standards. Maintain treatment notes, progress reports, evaluations, and other required documentation. Use clinical observations and outcome data to guide treatment decisions and recommendations. Communicate meaningful changes in participant progress to appropriate members of the care team. Multidisciplinary Collaboration Collaborate with families, program staff, teachers, clinicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Provide recommendations to help incorporate occupational therapy strategies into participants' daily routines and program activities. Participate in treatment planning, team meetings, case consultations, and staff training as appropriate. Educate staff and families on strategies that support functional independence, sensory needs, and skill development. Coordinate with other professionals to promote consistent, person-centered care. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current and active Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey , based on the location of services. Ability to provide services in person in a center-based environment. Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and appropriate confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, developmental disability, behavioral health, or center-based populations . Experience supporting individuals with developmental, sensory, behavioral, or functional needs. Familiarity with sensory integration strategies, adaptive equipment, and activities of daily living. Experience collaborating with families, educators, behavioral health professionals, and other therapy disciplines. Experience working in multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary service environments. Schedule & Work Environment This is a part-time, in-person position offering scheduling flexibility based on therapist availability and program needs.
