Job Description
The Perkiomen Valley School District is seeking an Occupational Therapist Extended Daily Substitute at Skippack Elementary School. This position is available on or around January 4, 2027 through approximately April 8, 2027. The Occupational Therapist provides school-based therapy services to support the educational needs of students with disabilities and those who require assistance to access and participate fully in the school environment. The OT evaluates students, develops individualized therapy plans, and collaborates with school staff and families to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-help skills, and access to the curriculum.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
Prior experience providing occupational therapy in a public school or pediatric setting, preferred
Certification and/or Licensure Requirements
Pennsylvania State Licensure obtained through the Pennsylvania Board of Occupational Therapy
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therarpy (NBCOT)
Compensation:
The salary will be equivalent to the first step of the School District's salary schedule for teachers without benefits.
