Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) The Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) is seeking a dedicated Early Intervention Occupational Therapist to provide evaluation, assessment, and therapeutic services for preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) in the Drexel Hill and Upper Darby area. In this role, you will collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote fine motor development, sensory processing, self-help skills, and participation in daily routines. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping young children achieve developmental milestones while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania Early Intervention regulations. This is a rewarding contract opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children and families during the critical early years of development. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Practice License required. Current CPR and First Aid Certification. Current TB Test. Proof of Professional Liability Insurance. Ability to obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances, including Child Abuse Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, Act 168 Employment History Review, Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training, and Arrest/Conviction Disclosure. Ability to complete the DCIU Internet Agreement during orientation.
