Occupational Therapist Concordia at Arbutus Park Concordia at Arbutus Park has one of the broadest networks of senior- and healthcare-related services in the country, all in one location: retirement living, short-term rehabilitation, personal care and long-term nursing care. Do you want a job that makes a difference? •Concordia at Arbutus Park is looking for experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide high quality care to their residents. As a Occupational Therapist , you will have the ability to provide high quality care for residence here at Concordia.
Some of those responsibilities include:
Provides occupational therapy services to residents and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with occupational therapy department procedures Along with the C.O.T.A., conducts resident screening at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment. Performs comprehensive resident evaluations by assessing level of impairment, disability, and dysfunction. Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to residents, families, and other team members. Develops treatment plans by identifying a problem or deficit list, including short and long term goals, resident goals, and a method to achieve identified goals Implements treatment plans, monitors resident response to intervention, and modifies treatment to attain goals in accordance with physician orders, plan of care, and discharge plans Develops appropriate home or community programming to maintain and enhance the performance of the resident in their own environment Provides, recommends and/or fabricates adaptive devices or other equipment. Trains residents, families, and appropriate staff on the use or application of the device.Pay:
