Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity specializing in Occupational Therapy for school-aged students. This is an excellent chance to utilize your expertise to help children succeed both academically and personally. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Experience working within a school environment or with pediatric populations Strong understanding of IEP goals, documentation, and related processes Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and families Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' functional abilities as they relate to academic and daily school tasks Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP requirements Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in one-on-one or group settings Collaborate actively with teachers, special education staff, and parents to track progress and adjust interventions Maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy services and student development Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on students' needs and accommodations Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals within the classroom and at home This role is perfect for professionals seeking meaningful work in a contract setting, making a direct impact on students' learning and lives.
