Edu-Aids is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment
to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of
students with disabilities.
Qualifications:
Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
Ability to work effectively within school settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' physical abilities, including assessments of physiology and anatomy knowledge relevant to pediatric care, as needed.
Develop and implement individualized goals and objectives focused on improving mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
Collaborate closely with teachers and child study team.
Monitor progress through regular documentation.
Attendance at IEP meetings as needed.
Progress Reporting.
