Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Occupational Therapist position is available to provide essential support for students in grades K-12 in Schnecksville, PA. This contract opportunity serves schools near Carbon County or Lehigh County, offering a 35-hour workweek with assignments beginning as soon as possible through the tentative 2026-27 school year. The role supports student development in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly to support academic success and daily living skills. Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state regulations and school policies.
Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist (OT) license required. Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within educational settings. Familiarity with pediatric therapeutic interventions and educational accommodations.
Additional Information:
This is an onsite contract position located in Schnecksville, PA. The caseload includes students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Hours are 35 per week with an assignment timeline from ASAP through the tentative 2026-27 school year, including Early Intervention services year-round.
