Occupational Therapist (OT) Shenandoah Senior Living Community - 3.6 Shenandoah, PA Job Details Per diem 1 day ago Qualifications Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) Shenandoah Senior Living Community Shenandoah Senior Living Community is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated and compassionate rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide meaningful, resident-centered therapy services within a warm, supportive, skilled nursing environment. As an OT, you'll help residents regain or maintain independence in their daily activities through thoughtful, client-centered care. Our ideal candidate is passionate about improving quality of life, takes a holistic approach, and thrives in collaborative care settings.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat residents to enhance engagement in meaningful daily activities Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on functional goals Teach techniques to support safety and independence in ADLs and IADLs Recommend adaptive equipment and train residents and caregivers on its use Assess living environments and provide recommendations for modifications Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and family members for optimal outcomes Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, goals, and progress Monitor and adjust care plans as needed
Qualifications:
Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented
