Arizona School-Based Occupational Therapist - Remote ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Peoria, AZ Job Details 19 hours ago Qualifications Teaching Certification Master's degree Video conferencing software Telehealth platforms OTR Telehealth therapy Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Remote Arizona School-Based Occupational Therapist Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license (or ability to obtain) Teachers Certification for Arizona NBCOT certification required Minimum of 2 years of professional experience (school-based and/or teletherapy experience preferred) Experience with IEP development and school-based evaluations preferred Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Comfortable utilizing teletherapy platforms and virtual technology Key Responsibilities Assessment & Intervention Conduct comprehensive virtual occupational therapy evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans based on each student's unique needs Provide engaging teletherapy services focused on improving fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care, and functional school skills Monitor student progress and adjust interventions using data-driven practices Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Participate in virtual IEP meetings and eligibility discussions Provide recommendations and strategies for carryover in both home and classroom environments Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, evaluations, and IEP goals Complete required reports and billing documentation in a timely manner Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines Technology & Teletherapy Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services using secure virtual platforms Adapt activities and therapy materials for engaging online sessions Troubleshoot basic technology concerns and support families with virtual access when needed Advocacy Advocate for student independence, participation, and success within the educational setting Provide education and resources to families and school staff regarding occupational therapy services and accommodations What We Offer 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity Compensation for both direct and indirect services Competitive hourly compensation Flexible scheduling 100% remote work from home Dedicated clinical and technical support Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students For additional information or to apply, please contact: Baylie Gossett Director of Educational Resources ProCare Therapy & VocoVision 904-595-8144 #p34
