Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a contract Occupational Therapist serving a well-organized district near Cleburne, TX. Join an established OT team that includes two full-time OTs and a COTA, where your expertise helps students succeed in both elementary and secondary settings. This is a full-time assignment with a flexible structure—work onsite three days per week and enjoy remote work the other two days, dependent on caseload needs and completion of responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:

Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Adept at managing diverse caseloads and adapting to varying site requirements Comfortable with IEP/ARD meetings and related documentation Willingness to attend back-to-school and ARD meetings as scheduled

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide direct OT services to students across elementary and secondary sites (potentially 4 locations) Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans to support educational goals Collaborate with school-based professionals to ensure continuity of care Maintain thorough documentation and participate in ARD/IEP meetings as required Schedule and communicate effectively to balance onsite and remote responsibilities Your schedule may align with elementary (7:30-3:30 pm) or secondary (8-4 pm) hours, but you'll enjoy the autonomy to complete work remotely when on-site tasks are finished. Flexibility is key, especially with back-to-school meetings—just communicate your availability to coordinate effectively with the team.
