Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of K-8 students by joining a dedicated team in a contract role serving a small charter school community near Eden Prairie, MN. This opportunity offers meaningful engagement with approximately 35 students ages 5-14, including those with academic, behavioral, and related service needs. Enjoy a collaborative environment where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist—or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with required supervision—makes an immediate impact. What we're looking for: Valid OT license in Minnesota, or eligibility Experience working in school-based, home health, teletherapy, or healthcare OT settings Familiarity with delivering services through push-in, pull-out, or consultative models Comfort working with K-8 populations, including students requiring behavioral and related services Ability to manage and document IEPs using SPED Forms Excellent communication skills for working with educators, families, and support teams Open to hybrid or fully remote service delivery models Your responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students ages 5-14 Collaborate closely with special education staff and families to design and implement IEP goals Deliver services flexibly: both in-person and remote/teletherapy options available Adapt interventions to meet a range of academic and behavioral needs in a charter school context Contribute to a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment to help every student thrive Maintain accurate, timely documentation and case management using SPED Forms What sets this role apart: Flexible scheduling: two days per week, with potential for 2-3 days as needed Warm, small-school setting with strong team collaboration Technology-supported service delivery, including teletherapy and hybrid options Support and mentorship available, including for qualified COTA candidates Step into a rewarding contract position where you help students reach their fullest potential.
