Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Experience a fulfilling role making a lasting impact on elementary-age students as a contract Occupational Therapist in a vibrant school environment near Milton, WI. This opportunity is perfect for those dedicated to supporting young learners' development and independence, focused on in-person engagement within an energetic educational community. Your schedule will be full time (40 hours per week), with core hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM and occasional after-hours meetings, allowing you to build strong relationships with students and colleagues while contributing meaningfully to the school's mission.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant state credentials Experience in school-based OT settings, Early Childhood through 5th grade preferred Proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans Skilled in conducting assessments, providing direct therapy, and offering consultative services Strong communication abilities with students, staff, and families Background in healthcare or home health OT experience is a plus Committed to in-person roles; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group OT sessions tailored for elementary students (EC-5th grade) Collaborate with classroom teachers and school teams to support IEP goals and student success Conduct screenings and assessments, developing strategies for diverse needs Document progress, maintain session records, and participate in ongoing meetings Contribute expertise during after-hours team meetings as required Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging therapy environment This is an excellent contract opportunity to inspire and support students in a meaningful way.
